A teaser is a type of bet that allows you to combine your bets on two or more different games. You can adjust the point spreads for those games from 4 to 5 points in Basketball and from 6 to 7 points in Football.
Rules:
- A ‘tie’ or ‘no action’ and a ‘win’ on a 2 team teaser shall constitute a ‘no action’ wager.
- A ‘tie’ or a ‘no action’ and a ‘loss’ on a two team teaser shall constitute a ‘losing’ wager.
- Ties on a 3 or more team teaser shall revert to the next lowest betting bracket for pay-off: for example: A 5 team teaser with one tie becomes a 4 team teaser (except on our special 3 team 10 point football or 7 point basketball teasers, on which the odds are 5/6 and ties lose).
- On our special 3 team 10 point football or 7 point basketball teasers (sometimes known as Sweetheart teasers), odds are -120 (5/6) and ties lose. Only point spreads of the same sport may be placed in these special teasers. If a selection has no-action due to postponement or cancelation, the whole sweetheart teaser will have no-action.
- You cannot combine different sports in a teaser. You can combine professional and college of the same sport.
- A Teaser is a Combination of 2 to 10 Football or Basketball Selections in Which the Point Spreads and/or Totals are Adjusted in your Favor in Exchange for a Lower Payout. More on Teaser Rules & Payout Tuesday, February 2nd, 2021 Memphis at Indiana - Memphis +4½ to +8½.
- The 6-point teaser requires us to risk 120 units to win 100. At a lot of places, you can get even better odds than that so would be ahead even more. For the 10-point teaser, we also have to lay 120 units to win 100. If you need some help with how to bet these wagers, be sure to check out my NFL teaser strategy guide.
Teaser Payout Table:
A teaser is a wager involving two or more outcomes in a single wager wherein you adjust the point spread/total in your favor in return for reduced odds. A teaser can be played in American Football (NFL/NCAA) and Basketball (NBA/NCAA) or a combination of these two sports only. Teasers have a minimum of two selections and a maximum of 15.

The Football and Basketball Teaser and Parlay Cards offer you the opportunity to place teasers and parlays on a combination of College and Professional games of the same sport. They do not give the option of buying points on spreads or totals.
Sweetheart Teasers:
The 3 team 10 point teaser (7 points in basketball) is a special type of teaser, also called a 'sweetheart teaser'.
- Only point spreads can be placed in a sweetheart teaser.
- Sport types cannot be mixed.
- College and professional teams of the same sport can be placed in a sweetheart teaser.
Super Teaser Odds
Because of the extra advantage given in a greater number of points at -120 (10/12) odds, a tie (push) in this type of teaser will result in the wager being graded as a loss. If a selection has no-action due to postponement or cancelation, the whole sweetheart teaser will have no-action.
